Red Blue Paraglider - Framed 14 x 11" original piece
Everyone who has driven along Tiger Mountain Road has seen them: bright paragliders cutting across the sky above the trees, hovering over Issaquah like sudden flashes of color. Red Blue Paraglider takes that familiar local sight and makes it rougher, stranger, and more electric, with spray-painted honeycomb shapes in the sky, ink drips, and layered blue washes that feel closer to motion than calm.
The connection between the person and the paraglider is left deliberately unfinished. The ropes are not shown; the viewer has to complete that distance themselves. It turns the image into a question about trust, risk, and the invisible line between being held and letting go.
This is one of four related paraglider pieces, each built from a similar visual language of floating figures, bold color, blue atmosphere, and raw marks. The companion pieces feature red-orange, yellow, and orange gliders.
